The Judgment of the Employment Tribunal is that the Claimant’s claim of unfair dismissal is dismissed.REASONS
[1]This case came before me for a Preliminary Hearing in Glasgow on 14 November 2018. The Claimant appeared in person. Mr Dempsey appeared for the Respondent. The issue was whether the Claimant had qualifying service for the purposes of an unfair dismissal claim.[2]The Claimant accepted that she did not have the necessary qualifying period of employment with the Respondent to pursue a claim of unfair dismissal, and she withdrew that claim.[3]In these circumstances, it is appropriate to dismiss the claim of unfair dismissal.
