No response has been presented to this claim and an Employment Judge has decided to issue the following judgment on the available material under rule 21:[1]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy on 27 October 2020. The claimant had 35 full years’ service at the time of his dismissal and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £16,140.00. This is calculated as follows: 30 weeks (the claimant being aged 41 or older for the duration of that time entitles him to 1.5 week’s pay for 20 years’ service – the cap on length of service) x £538 (that being the cap on a weeks’ pay).[2]The hearing listed on 28 June 2021 is cancelled.
