The claim is struck out under rule 37 of the Rules contained in Schedule 1 of the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013 on the grounds that the claim has not been actively pursued in terms of rule 37(1)(d). The claimant has also failed to meet the terms of an Order issued on 6 August 2019. Grounds for strike out therefore exist in terms of Rule 37(1)(c). Case No 4107593/2019REASONS
[1]An Order was issued by the Tribunal on 6 August 2019. The claimant was ordered in terms of paragraph 3 to submit details of the remedy he sought.[2]No information or contact has been received from the claimant since that time. The claimant has not responded to letters from the Tribunal of 30 August and 2 October.[3]On 15 October 2019 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to give written reasons by 22 October 2019 why the claim should not be struck out.[4]The claimant has failed to give an acceptable reason why such a judgment should not be made or to request a hearing. The Tribunal therefore strikes out the claim
