JUDGMENT

[1]The correct title for the respondent is Claire MacAloney, trading as “Beauty In The Square”.

[2]The claimant’s claim that the respondent made an unlawful deduction from her wages by failing to pay her full salary between 30 March 2019 and 25 May 2019 is well founded and succeeds. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant compensation in the sum of One Thousand, E.T. Z4 (WR) S/41 07078/2019 Page 2 Nine Hundred and Twenty Pounds (£1,920) representing her unpaid salary during that period.

[3]The claimant’s claim that the respondent breached the claimant’s contract of employment by failing to give her notice of dismissal is well founded and succeeds. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant compensation in the sum of Four Hundred and Ten Pounds (£410), representing one week’s notice pay.

[4]The respondent did not provide the claimant with a statement of the main terms of her employment as required by part 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996. Pursuant to s38 of the Employment Act 2002 the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant compensation in the sum of One Thousand, Six Hundred and Forty Pounds (£1 ,640), representing four weeks’ gross pay. 30 Note Reasons for the judgment having been given orally at the hearing, written reasons will not be provided unless a request was made by either party at the hearing or a written request is presented by either party within 14 days of the sending of this written record of the decision.
