JUDGMENT
No response has been presented to this claim and an Employment Judge has decided to issue the following judgment on the available material under rule 21 : 1.. The Claimant was unfairly dismissed by the Respondent contrary to s99 of the Employment Rights Act 1 999.[2]The Claimant’s dismissal also amounts to direct discrimination on the grounds of pregnancy contrary to ss18(2)(a) and 39(2)(c) of the Equality Act 2010.[3]The Claimant is awarded the sum of £4088 (Four thousand and eighty eight pounds) in respect of her loss of earnings and the sum of £10000 (Ten thousand pounds) in respect of injury to feelings. The Claimant is also awarded interest of £74.76 (Seventy four pounds and seventy six pence) in respect of the award for loss of earnings and interest of £365.78 (Three hundred sixty five pounds and seventy eight pence) in respect of the award for injury to feelings. The total award to the Claimant is £14528.54 (Fourteen thousand five hundred twenty eight pounds and fifty four pence).[4]The claims for breach of contract (notice pay), holiday pay and arrears of wages, having been withdrawn by the Claimant, are dismissed under Rule 52.
