No response has been presented to this claim and an Employment Judge has decided to issue the following judgment on the available material under rule 21:[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £1,436.14 (in respect of failure to pay the national minimum wage from 1 April (17.33 weeks x £2.38 x 16 hours = £659.92) and failure to pay wages for part of June and all of July 2023 (£776.22)).[2]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £514.46 (£557.33 x 12/52 x 4 years).
