JUDGMENT
The judgment of the Tribunal is as follows.(1) The respondent had neither submitted a response on form ET3, nor applied for an extension of time in which to do so, nor indicated any intention to do so. In those circumstances rule 21(3) applied and the respondent was permitted to participate in the hearing only to the extent of scrutinising arithmetic.(2) The claim for notice pay as damages for breach of contract succeeds. The claimant is entitled to compensation of £1,599.39 (net) and the respondent is ordered to pay that sum to the claimant.
