JUDGMENT
The judgment of the Employment Tribunal is that the claimant was made redundant by the respondent. Accordingly, the claimant’s claim for redundancy payment and pay in lieu of notice succeed and the respondent shall pay the claimant’s executor the following sums:(a) Eight Thousand, Nine Hundred and Seventy Six Pounds (£8,976.00) as redundancy payment based on the claimant’s seventeen years’ service; and(b) Three Thousand, Five Hundred and Sixty Four Pounds (£3,564.00) being twelve weeks pay in lieu of notice.REASONS
Oral reasons were given at the hearing which proceeded with the written consent of the Joint Administrator Allan Graham of Duff & Phelps Ltd.
