JUDGMENT
For the reasons given orally at the hearing, it is the unanimous judgment of the Tribunal that the respondent:[1]acted in breach of the claimant’s contract of employment by failing to allow him to work his full notice period or pay him in lieu therefore and the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the balance of the notice pay to which he was entitled by way of damages for breach of contract, in the sum of £808 gross, and ETZ4(WR)[2]subjected the claimant to harassment on the grounds of race in terms of section 26(1) Equality Act 2010 on 30 May 2020 and the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant compensation in respect of injury to feelings of £1000 together with interest accrued thereon at the judicial rate to the calculation date of £107.94.
