JUDGMENT
The judgment of the Tribunal is as follows.(1) The claimant was the respondent’s employee and worker for the purposes of the claims identified below.(2) The claim for unlawful deductions from wages is well-founded, and the respondent is ordered to pay wages of £3,500 (gross) to the claimant.(3) The claim for unpaid notice pay as damages for breach of contract is well-founded, and the respondent is ordered to pay compensation of £1,750 (gross) to the claimant. Case No.: 4102863/2023 Page 2(4) Both awards are made on a gross basis and the claimant is responsible for the payment of tax, national insurance and any other deductions required by law.(5) Oral reasons were given at the end of the hearing.
