No response has been presented to this claim and an Employment Judge has decided to issue the following judgment on the available material under rule 21, in respect of the claims for statutory redundancy pay and unpaid wages only:[1]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a statutory redundancy payment of £10,384.50 TEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY FOUR POUNDS AND FIFTY PENCE, calculated on the basis of the claimant’s gross weekly wage of (£1500 x 12 / 52) £346.15, the claimant’s age at the date of termination of employment (28/2/2023) and the number of complete years of service (20).[2]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £2,550.28 (TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND FIFTY POUNDS AND TWENTY EIGHT PENCE) in respect of the claimant’s unpaid wages for January and February 2023, at the net rate of £1275.14 per month.
