No response has been presented to this claim and an Employment Judge has decided to issue the following judgment on the available material under rule 21:[1]The claimant was unfairly dismissed and the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of £14,698 by way of compensation. This is made up of a basic award of £2,223 (9 years employment x £247 weekly wage) and a compensatory award of £12,475 (a year’s salary and £250 for loss of statutory rights); and[2]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £243.20 in this respect.
