JUDGMENT

The respondent has stated that no part of the claim is contested and it ceased trading on 13 April 2017 and :-[1]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the sum of £1,600 (One Thousand, Six Hundred Pounds) being 4 weeks notice as the claimant did receive one week`s pay in lieu of notice but was entitled to 5 weeks notice given his length of service of 5 years.[2]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £3,000 (Three Thousand Pounds) based on his age (62) and five years service on gross weekly pay of £400 (Four Hundred Pounds).[3]The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £160 (One Hundred and Sixty Pounds) in respect of the fee paid by the claimant. 4101529/2017[4]The hearing listed on 4 August 2017 is cancelled.
