JUDGMENT
The claims are struck out under rule 37(1)(d) of the rules contained in Schedule 1 of the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013 on the grounds that they have not been actively pursued.REASONS
[1]On 18 and 19 April 2023 the Tribunal wrote to the claimants and asked them to confirm by 26 or 27 April 2023 whether they still intended to pursue their claims after their representative withdrew from acting on their behalf. No reply was received.[2]On 26 May 2023, the Tribunal wrote to the claimants and reminded them that a reply to the Tribunal’s letters of 18 or 19 April 2023 was still required. A reply was required by 2 June 2023. No reply was received.[3]On 15 June 2023 the Tribunal gave the claimants an opportunity to give written reasons by 30 June 2023 or to request a hearing in order to consider why the claims should not be struck out.[4]The claimants have failed to give an acceptable reason why such a judgment should not be made or to request a hearing. The Tribunal therefore strikes out the claims.
