Mr Matthew Taylor v Employment Services Ltd: 4100333/2020
JUDGMENT
The judgment of the Employment Tribunal is that the claimant’s complaint of unlawful deduction of wages succeeds and that the respondent shall pay to the claimant the sum of Seven Hundred and Forty Two Pounds and Fifty Pence (£742.50).REASONS
[1]A copy of the claim form setting out the claimant`s complaint was sent to the respondent on 23 January 2020. E.T. Z4 (WR)[2]The respondent entered a response in which they did not dispute the claim.[3]On the basis of the material before me I considered that a determination of the case could properly be made in terms of Rule 21 of the Employment Tribunal rules of Procedure 2013. The claimant worked 90 hours in November 2019 for which he was not paid. He was due to be paid at the rate of £8.25 per hour. The total amount withheld from his wages was therefore £742.50. The respondent shall pay this sum to the claimant.
