Case Number: 3400146/2017 EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS Claimant Respondent v The Chief Constable of Hertfordshire Constabulary Heard at: Norwich On: 5 April 2019 Before: Employment Judge Postle Appearances For the Claimant: Mrs Slade – Nowell, Sister For the Respondent: Miss Joffe, Counsel PRELIMINARY HEARING JUDGMENT The claimant’s claim that occurred before 15 September 2016 are all out of time. They clearly do not form part of continuing acts or a series of similar acts and it clearly would not be just and equitable to extend time in relation to the discrimination claim and nor was it not reasonably practicable for the claims to have been presented in time, namely the public interest disclosure claims of detriment and therefore the Tribunal has no jurisdiction to hear them. Employment Judge Postle Date: …2/7/19…………. ............................................................ Note Reasons for the judgment having been given orally at the hearing, written reasons will not be provided unless a request was made by either party at the hearing or a written request is presented by either party within 14 days of the sending of this written record of the decision.
