JUDGMENT
[1]The respondent made unlawful deductions from the claimant’s wages in the gross sum of £2,253.21.[2]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract and is awarded compensation in the sum of £350.67.[3]At the time of the claimant’s dismissal he was entitled to payment for accrued but untaken holiday pay in the sum of £711.54.REASONS
[1]The claimant worked as a sports therapist for the respondent from 23 October 2017 until 14 September 2018 when he was dismissed summarily.[2]His gross monthly pay was £1,541.67 and the claimant had not been paid for the month of August nor for two weeks ending 14 September 2018.[3]The claimant was entitled to one weeks’ notice of termination of his employment and at the time of termination he had accrued but outstanding holiday entitlement of 2 weeks.
