[1]The claim is dismissed in its entirety, following its withdrawal by the claimant.REASONS
[1]This claim was listed for a preliminary hearing at 12pm on 3 November 2020. In advance of the hearing the claimant had written to the Tribunal indicating that she did not intend to attend the hearing and implying that she wished to withdraw her claim.[2]Attempts were made by the clerk to contact the claimant and so that she could confirm her intentions. As a result of these enquiries, an email was sent on the claimant’s behalf at 10:35 a.m. which confirmed unequivocally that the claimant wished to withdraw her claim.[3]Accordingly, the hearing did not proceed and, pursuant to rule 51 of Schedule 1 of the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013, I have issued a judgment dismissing the claim upon its withdrawal by the claimant.
