Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages and is ordered to pay the claimant:1.1 the sum of £1,609.16 (12 days from 1 August to 16 August 2019: 12 x £153.80 per day = £1845.60 less payment made of £236.44 = £1,609.16)1.2 the sum of £1,538.00 (10 days at £153.80 worked ‘in hand’ at the start of employment and not paid at the end of employment)1.3 the sum of £65 (parking ticket paid late by respondent)1.4 the sum of £300 (deducted for ceiling damage);1.5 the sum of £200 (deducted for ‘material not returned’)[2]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay the sum of £1,461.11 (9.5 days at 3153.80 per day)[3]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in that he was dismissed without 1 week’s statutory notice and the respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the sum of £596.75 net.
