JUDGMENT

[1]The claimant’s claim for damages for breach of contract (expenses) succeeds. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant £212.[2]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant £1440. This is the gross amount. If the respondent pays the tax and national insurance due to HMRC, payment of the net amount will meet the judgment debt.[3]The respondent failed to provide the claimant with a statement of terms and condition of employment pursuant to section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of £489 pursuant to section 38 of the Employment Act 2002.
