JUDGMENT
[1]The claimant was, at all material times, an employee of the respondent for the purposes of the Employment Rights Act 1996.[1]The claimant’s claim against the respondent for a failure to pay him the wages due to him under his contract of employment is upheld. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of £8,798.36.[2]The claimant’s claim for wrongful dismissal is upheld and the respondent is ordered to pay the claimant damages in the sum of £1,784.16.[3]The claimant’s claim for unfair dismissal is upheld. The respondent is to pay to the claimant the amount of £3,550 (a basic award of £3,150 and compensation for loss of statutory rights of £400).
