JUDGMENT

[1]The claimant was unfairly dismissed and his claim of unfair dismissal is upheld.[2]The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant as compensation for unfair dismissal a basic award of £4,188.87, calculated as to 6 x 1.5 x £465.43.[3]The respondent is further ordered to pay to the claimant as a compensatory award for unfair dismissal the sum of £3,749.12, calculated as to 48 weeks loss of earnings of £67.69 per week, plus loss of statutory rights of £500.00.[4]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s pay, and the claimant’s complaint to that effect is upheld.[5]The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant in respect of unauthorised deductions the net sum of £1,888.95, calculated as follows: gross holiday pay of £372.34, plus gross pay for one month in lieu of notice of £2,016.88, a gross total of £2,389.22, less tax and National Insurance of £500.27.[6]The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant costs in reimbursement of tribunal fees of £1,200.00.
