JUDGMENT
[1]By agreement, the name of the first respondent is changed to MJB Security Solutions Limited.[2]The claim is dismissed against the second respondent.[3]The first respondent unlawfully deducted from the claimant’s wages (by failing to pay him) the sum of £4,536 gross (i.e. before the deduction of income tax and national insurance contributions).[4]The first respondent must pay the claimant a week’s pay by way of damages for breach of contract, i.e. £540 gross. Case Number: 3319953/2019[5]The claimant incurred costs of £60 by way of overdraft charges as a result of the failure by the first respondent to pay him the unlawfully deducted wages, and the first respondent must pay the claimant that sum of £60.
