The claim is struck out.REASONS
[1]Sadly, the claimant has died since bringing his claim. The tribunal made an order on 13 June 2022 for the claimant’s widow to confirm whether she had been appointed the claimant’s personal representative and whether she wished to continue the claim on behalf of his estate. No response was received.[2]By a letter dated 22 September 2022 the tribunal wrote to the claimant’s widow to give her an opportunity to request a hearing, or to give reasons in writing as to why the claim should not be struck out because it had not been actively pursued.[3]The claimant’s widow did not respond. She has not provided any reasons in writing as to why the claim should not be struck out, and has not requested a hearing. It appears that she does not wish to continue the claim on behalf of her late husband. The claim is therefore struck out.
