Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]As of 23 November 2022, the complaint of unauthorised deduction from wages (section 23 of the Employment Rights Act 1996) was well-founded. The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages.[2]The Respondent has since paid the sum in question, and no order for payment is necessary or appropriate.[3]The Claimant has suffered distress and inconvenience, but is not entitled, under the legislation, to compensation for that.
