JUDGMENT
(1) The Claimant’s claim for a redundancy payment is dismissed.(2) The Respondent’s application that the Claimant should pay its costs, limited to Counsel’s fee in the sum of £800 plus VAT, was not considered at the conclusion of the hearing due to lack of time. The Respondent may renew its application in writing. If it wishes to do so, the application should be sent to the Claimant and the Tribunal within 28 days of the date that this judgment is sent to the parties, marked for the attention of EJ McNeill QC. The Claimant will have 28 days from the date of the written application to respond. Any response should be sent by the Claimant to the Respondent and the Tribunal.
