JUDGMENT – following preliminary hearing(1) The Claimant’s claim for unfair dismissal was not presented to the employment tribunal before the end of the period of three months beginning with the effective date of termination of his employment as required by section 111(2)(a) of the Employment Rights Act 1996 (the ERA).(2) The tribunal is not satisfied that it was not reasonably practicable for the Claimant to bring his claim within that period and the time limit is not extended.(3) The Claimant’s claim for unfair dismissal is therefore dismissed.
