Miss M Bristor v The Tipsy Vegan Ltd and K Mortimer: 3311798/2023 and 3311769/2023
JUDGMENT
The Judgment of the Employment Tribunal is that the claims are dismissed in accordance with Rule 47 of the Employment Tribunals Procedure Rules 2024 as the claimant failed to attend the hearing.REASONS
[1]The claim was issued in the South East Employment Tribunals on 17 October 2023.[2]The claimant provided the Tribunal with an updated email address on 1 May 2025. Notice of hearing was sent to the claimant at the email address provided by her on 8 August 2025 notifying her that a hearing was scheduled to take place on 22 October 2025 at 2 PM.[3]The claimant failed to attend the hearing on 22 October 2025. An email was sent to the claimant by the Tribunal office informing her that the hearing would be paused and would restart at 2:30 PM in order to give the claimant time to attend. The claimant did not reply to that email or attend the hearing at 2:30 PM.[4]The information available on the Tribunal file about the claimant’s claim was insufficient for the Tribunal to determine the claim and, therefore, the claims are dismissed.
