JUDGMENT – REMEDY(1) The name of the Respondent is amended to Clicks Bar and Grill Ltd.(2) The Claimant’s claim for a redundancy payment is well-founded and the Respondent is ordered to pay to the Claimant the sum of £2,436.92.(3) The Respondent’s sole director, Ms Ashwell, having paid the Claimant a total sum of £1,000 in about March/April 2023 in connection with the Claimant’s redundancy, if the redundancy payment due is paid by the Respondent, the Claimant should give credit against that payment in the amount of £1,000. No finding is made as to how the £1,000 payment should be accounted for, if at all, if payment is made to the Claimant under the statutory Redundancy Payments Scheme.
