JUDGMENT
[1]In this Judgment, “the Claimants” means those listed in the Schedule to it. Mr W J Evans is listed twice, but the Tribunal understands that there is only one Claimant of that name.[2]The Claimants were employed by the First Respondent and were among more than thirty employees who were dismissed as redundant on 23 May 2022 and whose place of work was Washington Centre, Halesowen Road, Dudley, West Midlands, DY2 9RE. The First Respondent went into Administration on or around 6 June 2022.[3]The Claimants’ complaint that the First Respondent failed to comply with the requirements of section 188 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 is well founded.[4]I hereby make a protective award in respect of all the Claimants and order the First Respondent to pay to each of the Claimants remuneration for the protected period of 90 days beginning on 23 May 2022.
