Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 The claim was issued in the Watford Employment Tribunals on 23 July 2022. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[1]BW Resources Limited is added as a respondent in substitution for Boardworks Limited, under rule 34, Boardworks Limited having changed its name on 10 January 2023, after service of the claim on 10 August 2022.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages in relation to wages owed for May 2022 and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £2,114.38.[3]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of pension contributions. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £3,256.08.[4]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £1,713.00.
