[1]The complaint of unfair dismissal is struck out.[2]The claimant’s complaint about an alleged failure to pay wages is unaffected by this judgment.REASONS
[1]By a letter dated 13 September 2023 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the complaint for unfair dismissal should not be struck out because: the claimant appeared to have been employed for less than two years, therefore, the tribunal lacked jurisdiction to consider the complaint of unfair dismissal.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The complaint of unfair dismissal is therefore struck out.
