[1]By a letter dated 21 December 2023, the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to contact the Tribunal by 4 January 2024 to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because of the reasons stated in the Respondent's representative’s letter of 27 September 2023.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing and has failed to ask for a hearing, and has failed to respond to the Respondent’s further application dated 5 January 2024.[3]The claim is therefore struck out on the grounds that it has no reasonable prospects of success and that it is not being actively pursued.
