JUDGMENT

[1]The complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is well-founded. The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages in the period 1st-16th February 2022.[2]The respondent shall pay the claimant £738.46, which is the gross sum deducted. The claimant is responsible for the payment of any tax or National Insurance.[3]The claimant’s claim for breach of contract succeeds. No award of compensation is made.[4]The respondent’s contract claim is dismissed under Rule 47 of the Employment Tribunal (Constitutional and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013 (non-attendance).
