[1]The claimant is to pay the respondent’s costs for the hearing of 20 February 2025. Costs to be assessed following the final hearing, or on the papers if the final hearing is not effective.REASONS
[1]The costs provisions are in rules 73 - 76 of The Employment Tribunal Procedure Rules 2024.[2]The claimant did not attend the previous preliminary hearing. The claimant did not comply with Orders made in full, nor did she, or a representative attend the preliminary hearing listed today. I find this conduct unreasonable and make the above order for costs for the respondent’s preparation time for today’s hearing.
