JUDGMENT
[1]The respondent is to pay to the claimant the sum of £1710 for unpaid wages and £514.70 for unpaid holiday pay. The total payable is £2224.70.[2]The sums payable are gross and the respondent is to account to the claimant and HMRC for any tax and national insurance payable thereon.REASONS
[1]In her claim form to the tribunal the claimant brings claims of unpaid wages and a failure to pay accrued holiday pay on the termination of her employment.[2]No appearance was entered by the respondent and on 28 October 2020 Employment Judge Ord entered judgment in favour of the claimant on the two complaints.[3]The hearing was listed for today for remedy. The claimant was represented by Mr Chris May and the respondent did not attend nor was represented.[4]Evidence was given by the claimant that the contents of her claim form were correct and that she was owed for unpaid wages 171 hours worked at Case Number: 3304533/2020 £10 per hour making a total of £1710. She also showed calculations of her holiday pay entitlement which amounted to 21.5 days and was payable at £514.[5]The respondent is to pay to the claimant a total of £2224.70.[6]The sums are gross amounts on which tax and national insurance is payable. The recoupment provisions do not apply.[1]The Claimant has suffered unlawful deductions from her wages[2]The Claimant has not been paid for accrued holiday. The Remedy to which the Claimant is entitled will be determined by the Tribunal in due course
