The claimant’s claim filed on 28 April 2020 is dismissed because it is out of time and the tribunal has no jurisdiction to hear it.REASONS
The claimant was dismissed from her employment on 23 December 2019. On 12 March 2020 she informed the respondent that if she did not hear from him by 16 March 2020, she would commence proceedings. She did not commence proceedings until she notified Acas of her claim on 27 April 2020 and filed her claim with the Employment Tribunal on 28 April 2020. The statutory time limit expired on 23 March 2020. I found no reasonable grounds on which to justify extending the time for filing the claim in this case. Case Number: 3304269/2020
