JUDGMENT
Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The Claimant was dismissed by the Respondent in breach of contract, namely without being given one week’s notice of termination of employment.[2]The Tribunal awards the Claimant the sum of £205.53 as damages for breach of contract.[3]The Claimant’s complaint that he was discriminated against by the Respondent for reasons relating to the protected characteristic of disability are well founded.[4]The Tribunal awards the Claimant the sum of £4,562.83 as compensation for discrimination in respect of his financial losses from the end of his notice period to 29 July 2020, namely 22 weeks and one day’s pay (based upon net weekly earnings of £205.53).[5]The Claimant’s claim to an award compensation for financial losses from 29 July 2020 and in respect of injury to feeling shall be determined separately by the Tribunal.
