JUDGMENT
[1]Upon the Claimant not appearing at the Final Hearing, the Claimant’s claim is dismissed.[2]As it appears that the Claimant has behaved unreasonably in not attending this hearing without any reason being given, the Tribunal considers that a Costs Order against the Claimant may be appropriate.[3]If the Respondent wishes to make an Application for Costs against the Claimant, it should do so by not later than 26 November 2019, specifying the costs being sought and how they are calculated. COSTS JUDGMENT[1]Upon the Claimant failing to respond to the Employment Tribunal’s letter dated 14 December 2019, the Respondent’s application for Costs dated 6 November 2019 succeeds.[2]The Claimant is ordered to pay £3,000.00 (plus VAT if appropriate) in respect of the Respondent’s Solicitors Costs.[3]The Claimant is ordered to pay £1,500.00 (plus VAT if appropriate) in respect of the Respondent’s Counsels Fees which have been reduced to take account of the relative length and complexity of claim.[4]The Claimant to pay the total figure of £4,500 (plus VAT if appropriate) within 28 days.
