JUDGMENT
(i) The claim for unlawful deduction of wages pursuant to s.13 Employment Rights Act 1966 succeeds in the sum of £1,145.22.(ii) Interest is awarded in the sum of £117.22 pursuant to s.24(2) Employment Rights Act 1966.(iii) An award of 2 weeks’ pay in the sum of £1,100.00 is made pursuant to s.38(3) Employment Act 2002.(iv) The total sum owed by the Respondent to the Claimant is £2,362.44.REASONS
[1]The Respondent conceded the claim for unlawful deduction of wages in the sum of £1,145.22 during the hearing.[2]Reasons for an award of interest at the rate of 8% were given at the hearing and the sum of £117.22 agreed at the hearing.[3]Reasons for an award of 2 weeks’ pay were given at the hearing and it was agreed that the Claimant’s gross weekly pay was £550.
