JUDGMENT

[1]The claimant was at all material times an employee of the respondent.[2]The claim for an unlawful deduction from the claimant’s wage is well founded and the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the net sum of £1,400.00.[3]The claim for breach of contract is well founded and the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant damages in the net sum of £1,200.00.[4]The respondent failed to provide the claimant with a written statement of terms of her employment within the prescribed period, contrary to sections 1 & 11 of the Employment Rights Act 1996, and, pursuant to section 38 of the Employment Act 2002, the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant a sum equivalent to two weeks wages:£375.00.
