JUDGMENT

Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £1171.62. (subject to any lawfully required PAYE deductions, but without any other deduction or set off)[2]The claims seeking additional damages arising from the non-payment (whether for pain and suffering, emotional distress, or interest charges on bills/loans etc) are dismissed as they are not in the jurisdiction of the tribunal, and because those type of damages are not appropriate for this type of complaint.[3]For avoidance of doubt, this judgment is against Genius Lab Ltd, and the complaints against any other respondent are dismissed as a result of the decision to substitute Genius Lab Ltd for any other potential respondent.
