JUDGMENT
[1]The complaint of automatic unfair dismissal for making a protected disclosure is well-founded.[2]The complaint of protected disclosure detriment is well-founded.[3]The complaint of harassment related to sex is well-founded.[4]The complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is well-founded. The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages in the period 1 July 2019 to 1 February 2023. Remedy[5]The respondent shall pay the claimant the following sums:a. Basic award for unfair dismissal: £562.68b. Compensation for past financial losses: £14,546.84 - £6,846.84 unlawful deduction from wages between 1.7.2019 until 1.2.23; - £7,200 lost earnings between 1.2.23 until 1.2.24; Case no. 3302574/2023 - £500 Loss of Statutory rights;c. Interest on compensation for past financial losses calculated in accordance with the Employment Tribunals (Interest on Awards in Discrimination Cases) Regulations 1996: (644/2 midpoint * 0.08 * 1/365 *£15,109.52; date of discrimination – 1.2.23 until 6.11.24 ) £1,066.36d. Compensation for injury to feelings: £15,000 (Middle Vento Band).e. Interest on compensation for injury to feelings calculated in accordance with the Employment Tribunals (Interest on Awards in Discrimination Cases) Regulations 1996: £2,117.26 Total: £33,293.13[6]Note: these are the sums actually payable to the claimant after deductions and adjustments have been made.
