ON REMEDY The judgment of the Tribunal is as follows: The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the sum of £10,541.03 (gross). The award is constituted as follows:[1]Unpaid wages of: a) 1 day: £192.31 b) Contractual commission: £3,500[2]Holiday pay of 2.88 days: £553.85[3]Contractual notice pay of 6 weeks (£5,769.23 minus £1,076.92): £4,692.31 Total award: £ 8,938.47[4]Interest: The respondent is ordered to pay interest at 8% on the above in accordance with the Employment Tribunals (Interest) Order 1990. The date the payments fell due was 31 January 2024 which is 818 days from that date until today’s date, The total interest owing as at today is £1,602.56. Total with interest: £10,541.03 This award is payable within 14 days of the date that this Judgment is sent to the parties. Interest shall accrue thereafter with a daily rate of £ 1.96 until payment.
