Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in the Watford Employment Tribunals on 27th February 2022. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £1989.72.[3]The claim for holiday pay appears to have been made out of time and will be considered at an open hearing. Notification of the hearing will be issued separately. Notice will be issued to the respondent but in the absence of a response, the respondent will only be allowed to participate to the extent determined by the Judge.
