JUDGMENT
[1]The Respondent, Ms Sivagurunathan, attended in person. Ms Sivagurunathan had not been named as the individually named Respondent to date in these proceedings. She informed me that she was the proprietor of the Respondent Dental Practice. It is not a limited company.[2]Ms Pamela Michaelee who had been named as the Respondent beforehand was the Practice Manager and was not the employer. On that basis I amended the name of the Respondent to Ms Kanajini Sivagurunathan.[3]The Claimant did not attend the Hearing and was not represented. The Claimant brought a claim for unlawful deduction of wages, alleging that she had not been paid in full for her period of employment between 13 December 2021 and 10 January 2022. In addition alleging that the Respondent had failed to pay her one week’s statutory notice pay.[4]The Respondent informed me that these sums were in fact paid to the Claimant. The Claimant was not present to argue otherwise and therefore I determined the only alternative was to dismiss the Claimant’s claim and I give Judgment to that effect. Case Number: 3302389/2022
