The unanimous judgment of the tribunal is: Direct discrimination[1]The complaint of direct disability discrimination is not well-founded and is dismissed. Unfavourable treatment because of something arising in consequence of disability[2]The complaint of unfavourable treatment because of something arising in consequence of disability is well-founded and succeeds. Remedy[3]The respondent shall pay the claimant the sum of £11,611.94 in respect of the following:(a) Compensation for financial losses: £1,390.90; 10.2 Judgment - rule 61 February Case No: 3301566/2023(b) Compensation for injury to feelings: £9,000.00;(c) Interest on compensation for injury to feelings calculated in accordance with the Employment Tribunals (Interest on Awards in Discrimination Cases) Regulations 1996: £1,221.04 Other complaints[4]All other complaints are dismissed upon withdrawal by the claimant.
