JUDGMENT
[1]The tribunal does not have jurisdiction to consider the claimant’s claim, because the claimant reached a settlement agreement with the respondent with the assistance of an Acas conciliator.[2]The agreement was recorded in a COT3 document signed by the claimant on 8 December 2023 and on behalf of the respondent on 12 December 2023. This was a valid agreement for the purposes of section 203 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 and section 144 of the Equality Act 2010.[3]For this reason, the claim cannot proceed and is dismissed.
