JUDGMENT
[1]The Claimant is entitled to £325 with respect to unlawful deductions for the shortfall in pay he received on 1 October 2020[2]The Claimant is entitled to £305 as damages for breach of contract. The total sum due to the Claimant is £630.REASONS
[1]On 1 October 2020, the Claimant was paid £1,000, when he was entitled to receive £1,325 for the previous month.[2]The Claimant was then summarily dismissed. The Respondent promised to give him 1 week’s pay in that regard. This was described as “gardener’s leave” although it was more properly pay in lieu of notice. EJ Maxwell Date: 1 December 2022
