JUDGMENT
The Respondent is Ordered to pay to the Claimant wages owed in the sum of £1,600 (subject to lawful deductions for Income Tax and National Insurance contributions).REASONS
[1]On 5 May 2021, Employment Judge Lewis granted Judgment in favour of the Claimant. The Claimant was claiming wages due to him in the period 30 September 2020 until 15 October 2020. The Claimant stated he worked 192 hours for the Respondent in that period and received no wages.[2]I have heard evidence from the Claimant who informs me that the arrangement was that he would be paid £100 for every 12 hours of work. 192 hours would therefore represent wages owed in the sum of £1,600.00.[3]I am satisfied that the sum claimed is due to the Claimant and the Respondent is Ordered to pay to him the sum of £1,600.00. This sum is subject to lawful deductions for both Income Tax and National Insurance contributions. 4 October 2021
